Occupy Gandhi - stop fossil fuel criminals

 Occupy protesters begin their protest and meditation in front of the statue of Gandhi

 'Criminalise fossil fuel exploration' - 'Real Democracy Not Corporate Democracy'

 

 People meditate

 as they listen

 Police and a 'heritage warden' private security watch

 

 'Only Justice through Sharing will bring Peace'

 

 Another song..'

 And Donnachadh McCarthy starts the meditation

 
 
A blue tarp is taken up to Gandhi 

 
      
and wrapped around him 

 

One of the GLC's private security heritage wardens removes the blue tarpaulin 

and takes it away, watched by a legal observer 

a replacement blue tarp is brought up 

and held around Ghandi 

without touching the statue
