 People continue to hold the blue tap around Gandhi

 People join hands in meditation around the circle led by Donnachadh McCarthy

 

 

 Police and Heritage wardens watch

 'RIP 300,000 dying from Climate Crisis Every Year said Kofi Annan UN Gen Sec'

 

 A heritage warden protests to some of those picnicing at the protest - I think about incense sticks burning in the flower beds

 

 It's apparently OK to burn incense sticks so long as you hold them, but the wardens think they could set the flowerbeds on fire!

 
 
The meditation comes to an end

Donnachadh McCarthy puts a tent in the middle of the blue tarpaulin in front of him 

and erects the tent 

in defiance of the laws about tents in Parliament Square 

 

 

and people climb into the tent
