Students arrive in Parliament Square
and join the crowds already thre
Many had made their own placards for the protest
which were often much more colourful than those provided by the SWP
and Socialist Party
'Don't Be Fossil Fools'
'Why should we care about A-Levels when the Government don't care
about sea-levels?'
'Science Not Silence'
'Stop Denying the earth is dying'
'How is This (porn) illegal but this (pollution) isn't'
'Destroy Global Warming Before it Destroys You'
'Don't throw Me Away!'
'Don't Be a Fossil Fool'
The sqare was pretty crowded with school students and their placards
At one corner some speeches were taking place, but most were too far
away to hear
though some gathered round to shout their support
They began to march up Parliament St behind the 'Global Strike 4 Climate'
banner
'Inaction will not be my epitaph'
The march paused for a while at Downing St
and then continued up Whitehall
'Save Our Mother'
