Franceys House built in 1695 for Alderman William Franceys in Market

The Joseph Wright birthplace memorial and at right 'The Standing Order',
an 1880 bank now a Wetherspoons, worth a visit to admire the interior
24 Iron Gate , an 18th century house which had its roof removed to
create a studio for Derby's pioneering photographer Richard Keane (1825-94)
The blue plaque is for John Whitehurst FRS (1713-68)
Queen St
and Ye Olde Dolphin, which despite the name and was first licensed
in 1530. The faced is 17th century.
