As I arrive a group are preparing to perform a short piece of street
theatre
and march across to the opposite side of the road
One has a Theresa May mask
and another is an arms manufacture with a missile with the message
'Made in Britain - Destroying lives in Yemen'
Theresa May and the Arms manufacturer get together to make and sell
arms to kill people
and the audience boo them
Climate change comes in and blows things around a bit
More wind, perhaps a hurricane or two
And the people are asked to vote whether we should make missiles or
turn them into something green...
and the green engineers win the vote
Hooray!
and get the missile to work on
turning it into something useful
while members of the audience stop Theresa May and the arms manufacturer
from interfering
'Windpower NOT Firepower'
and the missile is transformed into a wind turbine
A poet performs and a protester holds a severed arm and leg 'Profit
& Loss - Profit for the dealers, Loss of life for the victims'
