 A private estate close to Central Hill  Central Hill Estate, designed by Rosemary Stjernstedt (1912–1998) working for Lambeth borough under Ted Hollamby (1921-99)  The estate was completed in 1974 with 374 homes. More views of the estate here  The Open Estates Day here was centred around the lawn in front of 'City Prospect'  Jane Nicholl and Ian Bone of Class War arrived at the same time as me  Jane was wearing the latest Class War sticker 'This Estate is Not for Sale'  Behind the fence were stalls with food (for donations) a book stall, the exhibition of the alternative plans and more    The exhibition showing alternative plans that would increase housing on the site without demolition  Priate cake stall   Ian Bone looks at the book stall |
