Open the Rafah Crossing Egypt!

Egyptian Embassy, London. Sat 3 Oct 2015

Few people were opposite the Embassy when I arrived

One of the protesters held a poster '#Where is Talula, the name assumed by an Internet troll who comments

on many of the group's posts and claims to attend pro-Palestinian protests but has never done so.

Several of the protesters gave interviews to an Italian woman working on a video project

Protesters shouted at the Egyptian embassy every time someone went in or out

 Slowly more protesters arrived

Masks were handed out of some Egyptian and Jewish politicians

A keffiyah is bundled up to resemble a dead child

And five of the group posed in the masks outsidethe Egyptian Embassy

A few more protesters have arrived and more are on their way

but I have to leave shortly. I photograph a boy with the 'Open the Rafah Border' poster he has drawn

and take a few more pictures

including some of the young protester

before I say goodbye and go to see another protest - which I later found had been cancelled at the last minute
