Boleyn ground fight for Social Housing

Queen's Market, Upton Park, London. Sat 1 Aug 2015

Queen's Road market was saved from redevelopment by a local campaign against Newham Council

led by the Friends of Queens Rd Market

They are now leading the campaign to build 100% social housing on West Ham's Boleyn Ground

West Ham are moving to the Olympic stadium.

The Hammers' badge on the banner

people sign the petition calling for social housing. The developers want to build a luxury village

that will do nothing to house the thousands of local people on the housing waiting list

Handing out copies of the free community magazine 'The East End Howler'

'Local People deserve homes they can AFFORD!'

The stall was by the road in front of the market

The Boleyn Ground is a short way down the road
