Ecuadorians support 'Citizen Revolution'

 Ecuadorians stretch out a large national flag in front of the National Gallery

 President Rafael Correa is threatend by right wing plots

 The USA has always led support, usually clandestinely, to plots against any South American government that has socialist leanings

 or tries to govern in the interests of the people rather than that of US companies in the area. People in Ecuador

 fear that it is trying to get rid of Correa.

 Opposition is also mounting against his attempts to change the law so he can run for President again in 2017

 

 

 

 
 
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

There has been considerable oppostion in Ecuador to new tax laws intended to distribute wealth more evenly
