Surround Harmondsworth - end immigration detention

Harmondsworth Immigration Detention Centre. Sat 11 Jun 2015

Many of those taking part are former detainees, and some are still under threat of deportation

The protesters decide to go and protest outside the Colnbrook prison, next door to Harmondsworth

and they walk down the public footpath at the side of the prison

stopping on a cornfield. The Colnbrook prison is behind the hedge (and a tall fence) at right

The protesters can hear those inside shouting back when they shout

Messages from those inside are relayed by holding a mobile phone to the microphone

With the right phone the voices from inside can be heard clearly over the sound system

People listen as those inside speak

Eventually the protest ends and we all walk back to the Bath Road to disperse
