Qatar Slave Labour deaths - World Cup 2022

Qatari Embassy, London. Tue 28 Apr 2015

Protesters on both sides of the Qatar Embassy door

But police arrived and told them to move across the road and they did

 'Qatar, Play by the Rules'

One I couldn't read - a message to Qatar about the 2022 World Cup

Gail Cartmail, Assistant General Secretary of Unite and a member of the TUC Executive Committee and General Council.

'Give FIFA the Red Card - No World Cup without Workers Rights - Kafalla is Slavery

Gail Cartmail shows a police officer the letter she wants to hand to the Qatar Embassy

And he goes inside to talk to them

The deputation wait on the Embassy steps with the letter

and wait...

Gail Cartmel holds up the letter addressed to the Ambassador for photographers

The Red Card for Qatar

Eventually a man comes out from the embassy and says they will not accept the letter

The letter is left on the doorstep

and after a final photograph the protesters dispersed
