Cleaners protest at Royal College of Surgeons

Lincolns Inn Fields, London. Wed 28 Jan 2015

  
 
 The rain was just starting as Unison members arrived for the protest

 

 They came with flags and horns to make sure they were noticed

 

 Soon the rain became heavier

 and even I had to put up an umbrella

 which was difficult to always keep out of the picture as there was a strong and gusty wind blowing it around

 The rain really poured down, creating big puddles, but the protesters kept on, blowing whistles

 and letting those inside the building know why they were there with the megaphone

There were supporters and messages of support from other Unison branches and others
