New Year's Day Walk

Pangbourne, Berks. Thu 1 Jan 2015

 

 
 We had walked half a mile out of our way and had simply to retrace our steps

 But these two ponds were interesting to photograph and not on our planned route

 

 We got back on route and walked through to the edge of Sulham Wood

 crossing the road here to go on to Tidmarsh

 The paths around here were very muddy

 

 Hard to know why there were pill-boxes here, close to the River Pang

 

 
 
 

 

 

on the A340 at Tidmarsh 

We walked to the River Pang 

and then back along it 

 

back to Pangbourne
