	Thorpe Walk Thorpe, Surrey. Mon Oct 13 2014
	It was raining very slightly when we arrived in Thorpe And our route took us on a little detour around the village And back to the road where there was a strange lampost in a front garden At the edge of the houses we took a footpath past fields and vicious guard dogs. I didn't see them, but several dogs were barking at us The nettles and brambles made for difficult walking, though the others had trodden them down in front of me It did make for slow going, but evntually we came out onto a road, then onto a bigger road which we crossed and took a path past a field with some horses in. The rain had pretty well stopped by now
	Some of the ponies were expecting to be fed But wer just photographed The M25 was fairly busy and across it the paths going down towards the gravel pit were not too clear Like many former gravel pits this is a fishing lake There was some srcubby woodland, with ditches beside the path
