3 Cosas Defy London University Protest Ban

Senate House, University of London. Thu 24 Oct 2013

London University had banned protests at Senate House, saying they would call the police. They locked the

gates to the car park and had extra security on duty

At first the '3 Cosas' protesters made a lot of noise and hung banners on the gates

The main chant listed their 3 demands - 'Sick Pay, Holidays, Pensions, Now!'

The protest was also against job cuts at the university halls of residence, Garden Halls

The IWGB banner at the protest and the clear message 'We will not stop until we get our rights'

One protester had got inside the car park and was approached and threatened by security

But as others watched outside the gates he continued to protest from the inside
