Extinction Rebellion protesters regularly protest outside the British
Museum against BP sponsorship
but today a special protest by 'BP or Not BP' was taking place on
the museum courtyard and inside the museum.
BP is currenly sponsoring the special exhibition on Troy in the museum,
and protesters had brought in a large
Trojan House as well as the banner 'BP MUST FALL' as well as a group
dressed as soldiers and others as ancient Greek gods.
A group of singers wears a dirty oil version of the BP logo with a
black Trojan horse
A line of black-clad protesters with the message BP MUSR FALL
They walk slowly across the front of the building
and back
and make their way into the museum.
Elsewhere in the museum are a number of workshops and performances
by 'BP or not BP' and around
1500 protesters.
