March for England supporters and other extreme right Brexiteers came
to protest against a pro-EU procession
that was gathering to march to Europe House. Some shoulted insults,
calling them traitors, pedophiles and more
Some of the EU supporters tried to have a reasonable conversation
and argument
but some of the Brexiteers were extremely aggessive, confrontational
and foul-mouthed
This man had targeted a particular pro-EU protester
who answered him calmly and got more abuse for his response.
Police tried to move some of them away
One woman began a long argument with one of the Brexiteers, who at
first simply shouted at her through a
megaphone, but eventually they began to argue more sensibly
The police had moved most of them to the centre of the road where
they continued to shout insults
Tommy Robinson supporters
'The People Have Spoken - Respect our Voice' but the pro-EU supporters
were showing no disrespect.
That one conversation continues...
Meanwhile in the centre of the road people try to burn a EU flag -
which turns out not to be very flammable
while a mob of people with cameras on all sides - including me - try
to take photos
A flammable material from an aerosol can produces some flames but
the flag just metls and chars
I soon lose interest and move away from the crowd
and met some Orange Order Brexiteers marching along Whitehall.
