March for Autonomy for Hong Kong
Marble Arch & Oxford St, London. Sat 2 Nov 2019
Supporters of the Hong Kong protesters were gathering at Marble Arch
many wore masks
and some had hand-drawn posters 'Stop HK Police Brutality'
Others had printed posters -'Our RIghts Are Not Privileges', 'Hong
Kong is the Frontline of Liberties' Defend It'
and there were a few yellow umbrellas
but rather more yellow hard hats. Another hand-drawn poster 'Stand with
Hong Kong'
The marched along the pavement in Oxford St
Posters echoed the 5 demands of the protesters
including for universal suffrage
'Stand with HongKong'
'The New Generation of Hong Kong Never Surrender'
'Our Rights are not Privileges'
'End the Tyranny - Fight for Autonomy'
'#boycottchina'
'5 Demands - NOT ONE LESS' and a hand held up with 5 fingers
5 fingers again
'Our City, Our Future. Fight for Autonomy. Stand with Hong Kong'
'Britain Must Stand With HK'
A flag like the colonial flag of Hong Kong used before the transfer
of sovereignty
