XR defies protest ban

 Many wore black tape across their mouths, gagged as a protest against the ban on free speech

 

 'Article 11 - Freedom of Assembly - Right to Protest Peacefully - Freedom of Association' These are human rights

 Police warn a man he may be liable to arrest for breach of the Section 14 order

 and they hand him a Seciton 14 warning notice

 Police warn some protesters that this is an illegal assembly

 and come and take a tent away from one man sitting quietly with it. He had no intention of erecting it here

 but had hoped to be able to find a place he could put it to sleep tonight.

 but they take it away - it is illegal to have any means of shelter here.
