A path now leads down from Twelvetrees Crescent Bridge to the path
north beside the River Lea
and across the bridge to the Limehouse Cut
Towers at Canary Wharf from the bridge
can be seen clearly if you walk across
London's best remaining set of gas holders
and an area of parkland with memorials to the gas industry and its
workers
with an everlasting flame

Built between 1872 and 1878 the gas holders at Bromley-by-Bow are
