Police have held to 'Free Tommy' protesters by the BBC to avoid them
meeting the antifascists
at a rough guess there are around half as many of them as those opposing
them
Nothing much seems to be happening so I go away for a couple of hours,
expecting to see their march later
but when I come back 2 hours later they are still there
and still nothing much is happening, though some do head off and attack
Algerians protesting at their nearby embassy
I get fed up with waiting and decide to leave. Around 45 minutes later
police decide the anit-fascists have gone home
and let those who are left march down to Downing St for a rally - but by
then I'm at home.
