It was pouring with rain when students met to march in Parliament
Square
and we sheltered under umbrellas and trees
Some stood with the banner in the rain and led some chanting
with rain streaming down their faces
But it was time to set off on the march
and despite the rain they did
'Denial Is Not A Policy. It's Dangerous'
'Stop Shitting on my Future'
'I want you to PANIC' on the other side of her poster
'Climate Justice'
Many were now looking rather wet - and so was I
'Every Disaster Film Starts with the Govt Ignoring Scientists'
An anarchist flag on the march. I walked with them as
far as Piccadilly Circus but was getting too wet to continue.
It was a day when even 'weatherproof' cameras couldn't really cope and lenses
were getting steamed up.
