People met up in Parliament Square near to the statue of Dame Millicent
Fawcett
">
Many had brought their own placards
They were led in some chanting demanding action now on climate
'OurSpaceship Knows Which Way to Go'
THere were a few mass-produced slogans, but many more hand made ones
Some hled posters made as book covers 'The Sixth Extinction'
'ECO not EGO'
'Teach the Future' was the slogan on the banner at the head of the
march
The march stopped outside the Dept For Education
and made a great deal of noise
and then many of the marchers sat down, blocking the road
'Save Our World'
THe march moved on, back through Parliament Square and up Parliament
St to Whitehall
You can't eat money and drink crude oil'. The march halted briefly
in front of Downing St
They kept on walking to Trafalgar Square
