Tottenham and Spurs
Tottenham, London. Thu 11 Apr 2019
On my way to photograph Tottenham Hotspur's new stadium I took a few
pictures as I waited for a bus outside the
'Latin Village' at Seven Sisters. The council intend to demolish this
and replace it by the same shops that every other
high street has, paying higher rents as well as expensive flats, completely
losing the place's unique character and
failing to serve the local community in the way the current indoor
market and these shops do.

The new White Hart Lane stadium for Tottenham Hotspur. They hope to
find a sponsor willing to pay £20m a year
to have it named after them, but the fans will probably keep on calling
it White Hart Lane. Which is why the
club are keen to pay TfL to change the name of the railway station
in White Hart Lane to 'Tottenham Hotspur'.
It was officially opened on 3rd April 2019,
