Brexiteers protest Betrayal

Parliament Square, London. Fri 29 Mar 2019

People were standing around on the grass in Parliament Square

and waling around by the media camp, inclding this woman who stuck her tongue out while I took her picture

and a man in a Union flag suit and sunglasses

A man was telling us Brexit was the will of God, as the Bible says

Slowly people came together in Parliament Square

 'Treason May'

 'Parliament versus The People'.

People moved onto the road to block it - and a poster with a reference to one of the Labours of Hercules

'Believe in Britain' posters from 'Leave Means Leave'

Police try to persuade people to get off the road but with little success

A Catalan protester holds up a poster - It's May's Way or Leave the UK

Some people remained on the pavement

while others continued to block the road

Some had come down from Scotland for the event

I couldn't understand what Qatar had to do with this protest

The 'Leave Means Leave' march came down Whitehall with two Protestant marching bands, I think both from Scotland

The march continued past the Houses of Parliament and some of those in the square joined it

Musselburgh True Defenders, for God and Ulster... from Midlothian

On his way into Parliament a Brexiteer MP stops to talk with the crowd

'If you keep voting Labour & Tory they will keep betraying you'

#EUsupergirl Madeleina Kay dressed as Brittania with a quote from Oscar Wilde 'We're all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars'

The Leave Means Leave march returned to Parliament Square and I think went up Whitehall to where there was
to be a rally by extreme-right Brexiteers who were marching towards there. I was still feeling pretty weak and out
of breath, still getting over my infection and was too tired to stay and cover it.
