Hands Off Venezuela

The protest was outside the BBC who they accuse of only showing Venezuela
from the opposition point of view
Maduro has followed Chavez in carrying out socialist policies that
have bettered the lot of the poor
and this has alienated much of Venezuela's middle class - which includes
most of those resident in the UK
as well as the US, UK and other western governments and organisations
such as the WOrld Bank and the IMF.
Venezuela has been crippled by the steep drop in world oil prices,
and by sanctions against its nationalised oil industry

Lenin Moreno has come to power in Ecuador and the opposition are suffering
- and Julian Assange's refuge in the
London embassy is under threat. Moreno would like to see him out,
and extradited to the USA where he would be locked up for life
