Police hold back protesters to let people go in to the hotel where
the Aerospace, Defence and Security dinner
was taking place.
The Grim Reaper was taking part in the protests
A police officer holds one of the protesters as people go past
A woman is confronted by protesters
and a man pushed a protester who is held by police roughly enough
to send her flying despite the restraining arm
of a police officer. A second frame shows her blurred as she falls
forward from the blow to her back.
but she was soon up and protesting again
as police shepherd more diners past
Some of the protesters decide to sit down
They make their views clear as people file past into the dinner
Other protesters hold banners and placards
as people in bow ties make their way in
past the line of protesters sitting on the ground
Hotel security start to manhandle some of the protesters sitting on
the pavement
and things get a little rough
A protester hangs on to a pillar as security try to remove him
A police officer pulls on the arm of a woman sitting on the pavement
Other protesters keep up the noise, shouting "Blood on Your Hands!"
Police drag out protesters
and drop them into the gutter
Sometimes the police seem determined to cause some pain as they drag
the protesters to the gutter
