Women's Bread & Roses protest

People met up outside the BBC in Langham Place
Many had made their own placards like these 'Teach Girls to be Somebodies
instead of Somebody's'
There were a few speeches from the steps at All Souls, filmed and
directed by a BBC documentary crew
The speakers had scripts in orange card folders
Among those taking part in the march were 50:50 Parliament, calling
for equal representation of women and men
'Free HUgs'. I gave her a hug after taking the picture
Balham WOmen's Institute
'Austerity is Misogyny'
The Women's Equality Party
I admired the double-sided placards
'Time to Mop the Flour with the Pastriarchy'
'Free the Nipple'
'Bread + Blood is Lige'
'This is NOT consent'
'OUt of every 100 rapes ....97 will walk free'
'You wanna run a country? That makes me shiver. Bitch, I wouldn't
trust you to run with DULL SCISSORS'
'Roses are red, violets are blue I love smashing the PATRIARCHY with
you'
'Together We Rise'
