Protesters against the Islamic Republic of Iran, which imprisons and
executes political opponents
The protest marked the 30th anniversary of the the massacre of 18,000
political prisoners between July and September 1988
and in parular the recent execution of 6 Kurdish activists
The rain was fairly light but steady

a canton of the autonomous Democratic
Federation of Northern Syria recently invaded and occupied by Turkish and
Islamic forces
Mass protests in Iran in January 2018 by young urban activists have
been savagely repressed, with over
10,000 arrests and many executions.
The protest was organised by the People Fadaii Guerrillas of Iran
in London and the Democratic Anti-imperialist
Organisation of Iranians in London and supported by other groups.
