Coming down the hillside
I think this is Darling Fell at left and Bield at right
Just inside Holme Wood, which is National Trust property
There is a small hut in the wood which I think can be used as an isolated
holiday home and at the lakeside in
front of it was a rope swing
Farmland just west of Holme Wood
The path begins to climb up the hill
Towards Hudson Place
The shield above the door has the date 1741
we continued to climb up slowly past Jenkinson Place and Iredale Place
and from there back to the cars parked at Fangs Brow
