Presumably an industrial structure from the previous era with some
additions
River God (Father Thames), a polychrome relief designed by Stephen
Duncan put here in 1988 by the property developer

Work going on in the Thames for the sewage tunnel which will carry
London's waste to Abbey Lane from where
it will go on to be treated at Beckton. At present the nineteenth
century sewers - Northern and Southern Outfall
can cope with the sewage in normal weather, but when it rains they
overflow into the Thames
The US Embassy and other even less distinguished buildings in the
Embassy Quarter
An Indian restaurant I won't bother to go to
One off the Riverlight foyers
The old coal jetty, built just after the war at right, now home to
a boat-based community
One of the static platforms for work on the new sewer tunnel
A figurehead on one of the three boats in the former dock - see last month
