People were gathering in Parliament Square with English and Welsh
flags
and a Union jack. Many wore t-shirts with a dragon on them and messages
including 'Take back control'
Shaun Morris holds up a letter addressed to the Prime Minister. Others
hold flags 'The White Pendragons'
A woman poses for me and tells me a little about their protest
They are going to hand in letters to the Prime Minister declaring
themselves independent
though still supporting England. A woman wears a free Melanie Shaw
t-shirt. The courts jailed her as a mentally
ill dangerous arsonist, but campaigners say she is a child abuse survivor
and a political prisoner imprisoned
to protect a pedophile ring at Beechwood Children's Home in Nottinghamshire
and elsewhere.
Shaun Morris leads some of the 'Arthur Pendragons' past people in
Parliament Square towards the Houses of Parliament
and they cross over to the gates of Parliament
where they try to had in their letters
but police refuse to take them
He argues for some minutes but police say they cannot take the letters
Eventually Shaun Morris asks if they may push the letters through
the fence, and after some further discussion
they are allowed to do so
Shaun Morris shakes hands with the police after pushing his letter
through
And a woman who has just filled in her letter puts hers through the fence
after the others
