The UK has sold the Saudis arms worth £4.6 billion since the
conflict in Yemen began
Lindsey German leads a small delegation who have gone to hand in a
letter at the gates of Downing St
They wait at the gates
Eventually the police tell them they will not take the letter
to the disgust of Lindsey German. You have to arrange several days
in advance, which makes it impossible to
respond to emergencies such as the assault by Saudi-backed government
forces on the Yemeni port of Hodeidah.
The delegation comes back to report what happened
And Lindsey German reads out the letter that they wanted to sent to
Theresa May
and the protest ends
