Assange in Embassy for Six Years

The next speaker was a man wrongly convicted and held in UK jails
for many years
In his 80s he was in good voice when he sang
Lauri Love who fought a long and succesful battle against extradition
the the USA on hacking charges
If he had been extradited he would most likely have been locked away
in solitary for life

HUman Rights protester Peter Tatchell stands in the crowd. He held
up a poster in Red Square Moscow and
was immediately arrested. His trial will take place later, but he
was allowed back to the UK arriving just in
time to address the protest. He ended his speech by calling for a
round of applause for Julian Assange and
walked back clapping into the crowd

A woman had come to bring solidarity from Scotland - and others were
arriving for the protest as I left.
