Many children lost schoolfriends in the fire
The march was led by the 'United For Grenfell' banner. And Grenfell
have been united, even though some of them
have wished for a more active campaign they have still stood together.
The council failed miserably but the
community showed a tremendous response.
This was by far the largest march of the monthly silent walks that
have followed the fire, well over 10,000 people marching in silence through
the streets
Jeremy Corbin and local MP Emma Dent Coad wait their turn to shake
the hands of the firefighters
Diane Abbot had also come to take part in the march
There were other firefighters marching - the t-shirts say 'Firefighters
Demand Justice 4Grenfell'
The RAC-Grenfell Solidarity Group with their banner
'Grenfell Fire - Fight For Justice' with the Revolutionary Communist
Group who have campaigned for justice
since the fire, with street stalls in Ladbroke Grove, protests at
RBKC council meetings and other activities as
well as taking part in the 'Grenfell United' silent walks. The say
the council 'Are Complicit in Murder!'
