The pub we started from
just along the road was the church
with its graveyard
Some nice houses
and a rather curious one
out in the fields
was some rusting machinery
You can just see the M3 through the trees
and we crossed it on a bridge
into the Windlesham Arboretum
Thee was a lake hidden behind these gorse bushes
The Windle Brook
Another lake
The path led between the lake and the Windle Brook
An urn on an island in the lake
The next lake could only be glimpsed between trees and bushes
and had a balustrade
Where we failed to spot the way marker (at the right of this picture)
and retraced our steps until we reached
another junction and took a more direct route back to the bridge over
the M3
There were a few walkers in the distance as we took a different route
back to the pub
When this path reached the road the pub was just around the corner
