Erdogan, Time To Go
Downing St, London, UK. 15th May 2018
Erdogan was in the UK and visiting Theresa May and Kurds had been
protesting all day making their
views clear. 'Dictator Murderer Torturer You and Not Welcome Here!'
THe Kurdistan Solidarity Campaign placard shows him in bright red
as a terrorist
Police were out in force
but the protest was fairly subdued while I was there, and soon began
to leave, having started over 6 hours before
There were some arguments with police who were stopping them walking
down the road
and speeches opposite Downing St
Many carried Ocalan flags
A man in a Kurdistan costume
Many of those protesting were from Day-Mer Turkish & Kurdish Community
cnetre in north London
Tamam, meaning 'OK, go then!' was the response of many when Erdogan said
"When the Turkish people want me to, I will go"
