Capital Ring Greenford to South Kenton

London. Mon 7 May 2018

Paradise Fields Wetlands was apparently converted from a golf course.

The route goes along the Grand Union towards London

I think this is part of the Gruffalo trail

we had a rest here before climbing up the rest of Horsenden Hill

The view towards Southall - the golden dome of the Gurdwara at left and the gas holder at right - and a plane in the sky

looking west along a nearby street

Someone had left a gun on the seat at the top of the hill

Looking towards Harrow Hill. The large building left of centre includes the Grade II listed chapel designed by
Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, dating to 1905-6, a rebuilding of an 1897 chapel which was falling down. To its right is
the moden addition, all part of Chasewood Park on the former Sudbury Grove Estate.

Taken from the bench on which I lay while Linda had a long, long conversation with a German woman at the top of Horsenden Hill
