The Kurdish led Rojava of which Afrin is a province has a remarkable
consititution enshrining equal rights for
women and all races, nationalities and religions, with democracy from
the local level up.

the UK government to brign home the body of Anna Campbell
who was killed fighting as a volunteer with the YPJ in Afrin.
Her determination to me refelcted the determination of the Kurdish
people and in particular of the women
fighting for their country and its liberated constitution in Rojava.
