An armed police officer watched as they trade insults with the lone
Zionist
After some speeches the protesters shouted noisy slogans calling for
the release of Ahed and the other 300 children in jail
Many are held in small, bare underground cells, hardly large enough
for a mattress and a hole in the ground as a latrine
and with little or no light, kept in solitary and only taken out to
be beaten or interrogated. Often they are told their
mother or sister or other family members will be arrested or beaten
unless they confess, and they are forced to
sign confessions in Hebrew, which they cannot read.
Someone had come with a very long Palestinian flag
and a Palestinian stands in front of it to lead the chanting of slogans
calling fro Freedom for Palestine and for the release of political
prisoners, including Ahed and the other 300 children
A woman holds up a poster "You have something in this world...
stand up for it!"
