Protest picnic & checkpoint at DSEI

ExCeL Centre, London. Thu 7 Sep 2017

 Protesters play on the road

 and try to stop cars

Protesters hold the DSEI dice as police warn them they may be arrested if they obstruct the highway

Throwing the DSEI dice 'Suffere, Kill, COntrol, Spy...'

Another car drives past the dice

A protester lifts one of the DSEI dice out of the way of a van

It was lunch time - and North London Food Not Bombs move onto the road, blocking it with ther picninc

handing out free food to anyone who wanted it

Police talk to a woman on the road telling her she is obstructing the highway

 more people come to lunch

and police line up behind them

 The Food Not Bombs cake

officers try to get the people eating lunch to move

but most ignore them and keep on eating and blocking the road

People sit eating on the road

Eventually the police get fed up with the feeding, and start to threaten the diners with arrest
