Cleners and supporters gatherd on the narrow pavement of the Whitechapel

outside the old Royal London Hospital
Movement for Justice were there supporting the protest
and the Socialist Party had provided some of the placards
as well as 'Stand up to Racism'
MfJ had some hand drawn posters as well as their banner
spirits were high, with some noisy chanting
and people blew whistles
and danced to some loud music
The crowd of perhaps 500 people moved down a side road for the rallly,
still many dancing
Gail Cartmel was up on the steps with some of the other speakers
but came down to join in the dancing
