London University Security officers
Senate House, University of London. Thu 22 Jul 2017
Striking Security Officers had been on the picket line all day outside the east entrance leading to Senate House
but left around 5pm to join the rally at SOAS
At the end of the rally people walked from outside SOAS toward the Senate House
Where a row of security men stood outside guarding the entrance
and the strikers and their supporters keep up a huge noise with drums,
horns and shouting
With the Head of Security guiding in those attending the open evening
The drums made a lot of noise, and kept people moving to the sound
Victor Ramirez from the UVW holds an IWGB flag
UCU members had come from UCL and London Metropolitan to support the
strikers
The University and Cordant who employ the cleaners for the university
refuse to talk with the IWGB
