It was the 6th day the cleaners at the LSE had been on strike
a poster tells the management what they want - equliaty over sick
pay, pensins, holidays and for the LSE to
recognise their union, the United Voices of the World
It was lunchtime and many of the cleaners had been on the picket line
since 6 am
but they were still making sure that the managment couldn't forget
they were on strike
A young supporter adds to the noise
And Mildred speaks, telling everyone why they are on strike - and
will keep striking until their demands are met
Mildred Simpson 'Justice for the LSE Cleaners - We are NOT the dirt
we clean'
Some supporters banged pans
and people shouted for fair treatment by the LSE
Leading some loud chanting
