One of the organisers explains why we cannot mention the name of the
woman the protest was organised to support
People, including Sir Benjamin Slade, listen to the speaker
A woman talks about the case of a friend whose name cannot be mentioned
beacuse of a family court ruling
Several of those at the protest had stories to tell of secret decisions,
gagging orders and family court decisions
that had left their children with people who had abused them and other stories
Sir Benjamin Slade tells the story of his fight to help a former employee
to get his children back - they had been
taken away by social services because the parents had mildly unusual
behaviour which had not harmed their children.
The Women's Coalition 'Fighting for the Right to Keep and Protect
our Children' have prepared a report for the UN
One young mother collapsed and died in court from stress after her
children were taken from her
'Court allows my abuser to use our child to continue to abuse &
control both of us!'
