The human chain continues past hte boarded up Wards Corner and along
Seven Sisters Rd
Then around the corner into Sutfield Rd
and along it
To West Green Rd
Back on the HIgh Rd
Another Samba band arrives to join in the protest to save the Latin
Village
The Latin VIllage is immediately by the main exit from Seven Sisters
station
More about the campaign to save the Latin Village - and plan for the
community, not the property developers
Haringey Council is a Labour council - but doesn't listen to the people
who live in the borough.
Tory Mayor of London Boris Johnson wrote asking the council to review
the scheme in 2008
A group of Latin American singers based in the area performs - and it's
time for me to leave although the protest festival is continuing
