South Ascot Walk

South Ascot, Berks. Mon 5 Dec 2016

 Winter sunshine

The water has a high iron content - which gives the brown colour - just like rust

Six crosses on the Catholic church

A solid and large detached house probably from around 1900

one large estate is a private school

The footpath goes down a narrow gap between two tall fences, straight on close to the left of the picture

A fairly recently built property, this sold for £6m in 2013

 A mere £3.5m when sold in 2012

he average value of properties on Monks Walk, Ascot, SL5 is £2,736,860

Friary Rd houses have similar prices. To rent houses like this would cost you around £12,000 a month

There are a few affordable properties in Ascot :-)

Not all of South Ascot is covered by huge houses

and some properties were built for workers
