CETA Street stall & Banner drop

Hampstead & Westminster, London. Sat 15 Oct 2016

The street stall in South Hampstead was on a wide area of pavement

CETA is a threat to Democracy, with corporations able to take action to stop governments

doing anything that would potentially affect their profits - such as bring in environmental

 protection or safety regulations

'If you like Southern Rail you'll love CETA!' Many of those passing by stopped to sign

a petition and take action cards to send in

There were some speeches to explain why it was important to stop CETA

which is just like TTIP except with Canada rather than the US

A few hours later I met the campaigners again on Westminster Bridge

Where the brought the large banner 'Democracy' and another saying '#noCETA'

but the wind kept blowing the banner up

I managed to get a few pictures were it was legible

with the Houses of Parliament in the background

I took a few pictures as I walked back on to the bridge

Where the banner was still blowing in the wind
