Picturehouse strike for Living Wage

Hackney, London. Sat 15 Oct 2016

Strikers from Brixton Ritzy came to show solidarity

The strikers and supporters met at Hackney Town Hall, opposite the cinema

and they walked across the road

 Drummers from Brixton Ritzy

The Hackney Picturehouse strikers were in green t-shirts and had green placards

Other trade unionists had come to show support

 'Living Staff - Living Wage'

You need the London Living Wage to live in London

and Picturehouse makes huge profits - £83.8m - so can afford to pay a decent wage
