Act Up protests Gilead's naked greed

Gilead Sciences, Holborn, London. Fri 1 Apr 2016

Five 'lobbyists' had letters painted on their backs which they were going to display in the protest by standing naked

in the window of Gilead's London offices.

Final preparations for the protes. Those who were taking part in the naked protest inside wore blue gowns

Protesters leave to walk to High Holborn

Other protestershad placards, posters and two banners

Some of the 'lobbyists' walked hand in hand

The five 'lobbyists' hold hands as they prepare to walk the last few yards to Gilead's offices

Protesters walk into the lobby at Gilead's offices

And they start to take off their gowns in the window

reveraling the letters on their backs

The protest spells out the hashtag #PharmaGreedKills

reflections in the glass window made the whole message a little difficult to read and photograph

especially until I asked them to move closer to the window

I got the clearest image by concentrating just on the naked backs that spelt out 'GREED' (and some careful post-processing)
